Annie Tunheim earned her J.D. Degree from the University Denver College of Law in 2004, where she was Managing Editor of the Denver Journal of International Law & Policy. Ms. Tunheim worked as a litigation associate with a downtown Denver firm shortly after graduation, but left to forge a career path where she felt fulfilled in both work and home life. She spent 5 years as legal counsel for a well-known mid-size brewery, managing federal (TTB) and state compliance, drafting contracts, and other legal matters.
Tunheim founded Tunheim Law LLC in 2008 to further her interest in pursuing a satisfying career path and assist small to mid-size businesses create and maintain strong brands.
Ms. Tunheim is admitted to practice in front of the Supreme Court of Colorado and is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association and the International Trademark Association. She can be found in her hundred-year old home near downtown Denver with her husband and three young sons or out on a hiking or cross-country ski trail, enjoying all the beauty that Colorado has to offer.

Ms. Tunheim implements the following practices in order to reduce the impact her practice has on the environment:
- Running a virtual law office, and one that is more than 95% paperless
- When paper is necessary, recycled paper is used
- Natural lighting used whenever possible
